I could so clearly feel and picture the gift of a loving partner, bringing wonder and magic to a painful moment. To so easily guide your loved one in pain to shift focus to an experience of joy is touching, reminding me of all the pain and joy my husband has helped me through also, that sentence really hit me about love and partnership and kindness.
